👏 THESE ARE WARRIORS IN ACTION👏 Smithville High School students in the Trading Card Program spoke with Maple Elementary School students about the importance of being drug- and alcohol-free. These seniors are positive role models who maintain high GPAs, are active in extracurriculars, and pledge to live substance-free. Maple Elementary students who earned this special award had the opportunity to meet with the seniors, enjoy lunch, and receive a custom trading card! Through the Trading Card Program, they’ve volunteered nearly 500 hours across the district this year! #ssdpride

"Mike Mast is an essential part of our school community, providing security and support both during the day and at after-school events. His constant presence—before, during, and after school—ensures that students and staff feel safe and supported at all times. Always ready to lend a hand, Mike goes above and beyond to assist whenever needed. Students feel comfortable approaching him for help or to share concerns, knowing he is approachable and willing to listen. His role is critical to the daily functioning of our building, and without his dedication to handling student behaviors, infractions, and disruptions, our learning environment would not be as strong as it is today. Mike’s commitment, hard work, and support truly make him an Ultimate Warrior!"

“A massive shoutout to Brenda Dion. Brenda has been the heart and soul of Warrior Preschool and Early Childhood. Her kindness, positivity, and tireless work ethic are to be recognized. She does ALL the things with grace and smile and knows so much about both SPED processes and Warrior Preschool, which is not easy to keep organized. We're going to miss her so much next year as she steps into retirement, but we're incredibly grateful for everything she's done. Thank you Brenda for all the work you have put into our programs!”
