Warrior Shout-Out: “It is a joy to encounter a teacher who not only excels in their subject matter but also profoundly impacts the lives of their students. Dalton is a role model for students and adults alike. Dalton dedicates many hours and resources in order to aid the success of his students, and others in the fine arts department. He practices patience, efficiency, and compassion daily. Dalton does a tremendous job of making the theatre department a safe and accepting place for all people. Students feel comfortable trying new things and being vulnerable without fear of judgement. The productions he and the students put on for the community are incredible. He challenges students to look at things with a perspective outside of their own, allowing them to empathize deeply and think critically. Dalton is a wonderful human in every respect, and an incredible advocate for others. Thank you for your dedication to students, staff, and the community!”

“My inspiration for teaching came from my dad! I grew up watching and learning from him. I saw the love and passion he put into everything he did in his classroom and with his kids. His love for educating kids is what led me to be a teacher. What keeps me motivated are the kids! I need to be the best teacher, role model, and listener because they are the future! They deserve the best each and every day I step into my classroom. My best advice to give a new teacher is to go in ready to learn and grow. Every day is different. There will be challenges and obstacles, but in the end, you will love every minute of it!” Aaron Bowlin

“My favorite moments in teaching are those times when students have a true "Aha" type of moment. When they finally are able to understand something that previously was completely foreign to them. I love being a part of students SEEING their own success and really being proud of themselves. I also love laughing with my students. I mean life is funny and you have to embrace that. By far the most fulfilling thing about teaching is watching kids live up to their full potential. Warrior Shout-Out: “Rachel is one of those teachers you come across once in a great while. She is popular with students, families and colleagues. She works hard to continue growing in the teaching profession. She has spent countless hours to earn her master's degree, as well as becoming a certified “whole brain” teacher. She is a Kagan coach and Google expert! Rachel not only shares her learning and leadership with her grade level team but also with other educators in the district. She genuinely cares about her students, families, and colleagues. Rachel has a way of inspiring others with her encouraging words, actions and compassion. EHE is a better place because of her. We are SO lucky to have her expertise in our district.”
