Even after they leave third grade, they know Ms. Billings is always there rooting for them to keep achieving.”

Warrior Shout-Out: “Mrs. Kassidy Beach is deserving of the Ultimate Warrior award because she embodies all of the characteristics of what I feel an Ultimate Warrior truly is. Within every one of her classrooms she has created a close community. Her students not only grow academically, but they also learn how to be leaders and above all how to be kind humans who care about each other. Mrs. Beach models how to communicate, work out differences and be empathetic. Her students learn how to support each other, and how to cheer each other on. In the world we are living in, it can be very hard to find a place, or person, that can make you feel like that. Mrs. Beach is loved and respected by all of her students, and her co-workers. She is proud to be a Smithville Warrior, and we are so proud to have her here!”

Every March, the Missouri Art Education Association hosts a Youth Art Month Exhibit. Sixth graders Jailee Hoverson, Hunter Foster, Zoey Peery & Kinley Bradshaw will have their work on display in Jefferson City at the Capital, with an awards ceremony on March 4. Congrats Warriors!
