Warrior Shout-Out: Mrs. Irwin is a great asset to Eagle Heights. She works behind the scenes and is not noticed for all of her hard work. Between teaching the kids reading and helping in the cafeteria, Mrs. Irwin goes above and beyond. I appreciate all of her support and her smiling face. I would say she is out of this world!

Warrior Shout-out: So much is asked of Robert already, yet he does not hesitate to provide additional information to the School Board. Robert is easy to bounce ideas off of and when I need further explanations, he takes the time to let me talk things through. Robert has many irons in the fire and provides much support to our school district.

warrior shout-out: “Richard gives his whole heart to our kids! He has made the selfless decision to spend his “retired” phase of life giving back to students. He begins each day with being Mr. Richard, the bus driver. He is a fan favorite and gets stopped by the kids he drives for anytime he’s out and about! He then goes to Horizon Elementary to serve as recess aide. He has made recess a blast for kids and encourages them to play and enjoy that time being a kid! He scored big points with many students when he helped bring football back to recess. He then spends a majority of his evenings refereeing football, from middle school through varsity levels. I am thankful for the genuine love he shows students! He spends hours and hours a day in these positions because he loves them, and it doesn’t take much to see that love goes both ways! Our kids are lucky to have Mr. Richard! “
Time for Way Back When-sday! Kiss A Goat has been tradition for Smithville High School's Homecoming. In 2001, people began raising money in their favorite teacher's jars. Do you recognize anyone at the table?

Mrs Ellis is calm, patient and caring. It is impressive the amount of focus she gives to the kids and what she gets in return. Her classroom is a safe space for kids to learn not only the fundamentals, but also work on the art of following instructions and listening. She is consistent with the positive energy she gives off and it is appreciated.

Not only did she step up to fill a role for the district, her compassion and dedication show through on a daily basis. While entering into a new position with a lot of unknowns she has handled it with grace. Asking questions without fear and constantly striving to do what is best for her students. Sherri is without a doubt an Ultimate Warrior.
