Warrior Preschool Program is a tuition-based preschool program at Smithville School District. The goal of our Warrior Preschool Program is to provide students with an opportunity to engage with peers and educators, giving a head start on school readiness skills in a real school environment. Warrior Preschool Program offers half-day am, half-day pm, and full-day classes. Mrs. Meyer is an Ultimate Warrior because she creates a safe environment for kids to have a growth mindset. Students don't always have positive thinking towards the subject of math, but once Mrs. Meyer gets a hold of students, their mindset shifts and their math abilities are out of this world. His dedication to providing opportunities for these students, both inside and outside the classroom, is truly remarkable. Amy Elliott is very deserving of the Ultimate Warrior Award! Amy works relentlessly to ensure that students feel safe, supported and are engaged in their learning. Amy creates so many experiments and enrichment projects to help her students truly learn the material, but even more, enjoy what they are doing! Students are excited to go to Mrs. Elliott's class every day and that is because she has created an environment and culture where students thrive and she challenges them to truly engage in ancient cultures and science curriculum. Additionally, Amy is a great teammate, leads by example, forms strong relationships and takes care of the details so everyone feels prepared to be successful. We are so lucky that Amy is a Warrior!
