Speech and Debate Maryville Tournament --
Our Speech and Debate team traveled to Maryville High School over the weekend and did very well! Please help me in congratulating our students on a job well done!

Natalie Cardon: 3rd place in Informative Speaking ;
Will Sapp: 1st in Student Congress;
Carly Lloyd: 3rd in Original Oratory and Outstanding Novice in Oratory;
Ben Grandstaff: 5th in Radio Speaking;

All-State Choir --
Based on auditions from September, several students were selected to participate in the All-District Choir clinic & concert this past Saturday. They gave an amazing concert under the direction of Dr. Maglione from William Jewell.
During the day, auditions were held to see who would be given All-State honors. Placing in the top 10 earns an Honorable Mention. Top 6 qualifies you as an alternate. Only the top 4 in each voice part are selected to the All-State Choir. Congratulations to the following:

Elise Cahill - soprano, alternate
Jonas Beckham - bass, honorable mention
Mason West - bass, honorable mention
