Yesterday Parents as Teachers hosted an event at the Smithville Fire Station! Children explored the equipment on the fire truck, learned the names of tools and what they are used for, and had an opportunity to ask questions. They also learned about calling 911 and what to do if they hear a fire alarm. Each child received a coloring book, fireman’s badge and hat.
