On September, 7th the Smithville Girls Golf team took 1st place out of 18 teams at the Lawson Girls Golf Invitational Tournament. The Smithville girls shot a team total of (374), this score topped Pleasant Hill (381) and Cameron (416). Four out of the five Smithville golfers took home medals. Amanda Conrad placed 1st in the individual standings shooting a season low (89). Cali Hatcher took home a 3rd place bronze medal shooting a score of (94). Peyton Wohlford shot a (95) allowing her to have a share of a 4th place tie between six different golfers. The final medalist for Smithville was Maddie Oesterle. Her score of (96) was good enough for a 10th place finish. Ava Hraban shot a (120*).
