On Saturday, October 16, 2021, Smithville hosted the Suburban Blue Conference XC Meet on their new course at Smith’s Fork Park.
All seven of Smithville’s Varsity Boys finished in the top 14. Despite a strong performance, they lost the team title to Platte County by 1 point (29 to 28).
The girls team finished third overall behind Platte County and conference champs, Kearney.
