The Smithville XC returned to the “Rim Rock Farms Classic” in Kansas for the first time since 2018. With half the team competing on Friday evening and the other half on Saturday morning, athletes were following each others performances online with live results.
On Friday evening, every athlete hit a lifetime PR in the 5,000 meter distance. Then on Saturday morning, athletes ran some of their fastest times of the season as they competed in the Blue Division.
The boys team took first overall with 87 points running an average time of 17:35.
