Maple Elementary kindergarten and preschool students wrapped up their literacy unit on farming with a hands-on experience they won’t soon forget. Students had the chance to meet three goats and two chickens, learn about farm animals, and even practice gentle petting as classes rotated through the experience. We love seeing learning come alive in such fun and meaningful ways! 🐐

Out of more than 700 teams that entered the Battle of the Brains Competition hosted by Burns & McDonnell, Horizon Elementary’s team finished in the Top 20—an incredible achievement!
