kelly cashatt “We are so proud to recognize our amazing World Languages Team—Kelly Cashatt and Tamarin Stark—for their incredible dedication and heart. Even while navigating the school year without a full department, these two have gone above and beyond for their students—giving up plan time, taking on larger class sizes, and still showing up each day with a smile and a can-do attitude. They bring kindness, organization, and encouragement to everyone they meet, and they make each person around them feel valued. One colleague said it best: “Every day is a joy in their world.” Kelly and Tamarin see every student as capable and work tirelessly to help them succeed. SHS is truly lucky to have them! warrior shout-out *Ultimate Warrior Nominee* Smithville High School World Language Teachers tamarin stark
Today marked a bittersweet milestone for the Smithville High School Class of 2025, their final day as seniors. In caps and gowns, they took one last walk through the halls of their former elementary schools and middle school, greeted with cheers, hugs, and teary smiles from teachers and younger students alike. This moment wasn’t just about saying goodbye—it was about honoring the journey, celebrating the memories, and inspiring the next generation of Warriors. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior. 💚 #ssdpride

“Justin is everywhere and we mean that in the best way possible! He knows students by name, asks meaningful questions, and shows up for as many school activities as humanly possible; all while keeping a positive attitude. Justin is intentional, authentic, and all-in when it comes to supporting our school. He works closely with students, staff, and families to ensure everyone is on the same page and moving forward together. “When he talks to students, they light up.” That’s the kind of impact that builds community and creates a truly positive learning environment. Thank you, Justin, for the energy, care, and heart you bring to Smithville High School every day”
