Second Cup of Coffee
It is time for the Second Cup of Coffee!  On Thursday, March 16th, the Middle School Faculty and Staff would like to invite the community to come enjoy a free cup of coffee and have conversation with us!  Please come at 7:45am until 8:15am in the Middle School Cafeteria. Please stop in! We would love to meet with you!
Spirit Week Dress Up Days
Monday - Pajama day
Tuesday - Represent your favorite childhood show (dress up like a character etc.)
Wednesday - Dress as what you wanted to be when you were a kid (princess, doctor, vet, football player etc.)
Thursday - Dress up as the late 90's/ early 2000's
Friday - Dress up like a Role Model - like your best friend or as someone famous
MAP Testing Dates
The students will be MAP testing between in April. Testing will start right away in the morning, please be sure students are present, on time, well rested and have eaten breakfast. Please schedule appointments for later in the day as we will not be able to interrupt classrooms.  The schedule is as shown:
Team 6A - April 5 & 6
Team 6B - April 11 & 12
Team 7A - April 11 & 12
Team 7B - April 18 & 19
Team 8A - April 18 - April 21
Team 8B - April 24 - April 27
8th Graders Registering for 9th Grade Classes
All 8th graders will be registering for 9th grade next week. Please make sure your child's registration sheet is filled out completely, with a parent/guardian signature, and returned to school starting on Monday, March 6. Please contact Megan Stoecker at with any questions. Thank you!

Congratulations Academic Bowl
Congratulations to our Middle School Academic Bowl team as they took 2nd Place at the MEC Tournament on Saturday, February 25th!  It was a tough group and they fought hard!
Attention 6th and 7th Grade Parents!
If your student hasn't already had their Tdap and Meningitis shots for 8th grade, this would be a good chance to get them.  Please turn in a record when done to Cindy Lessenden at
Eighth Grade Celebration Photos Needed
Eighth Graders:  We would like you to start turning in your photos for the eighth grade celebration slide show. We need two pictures.  These pictures can be baby/young, by yourself, with family, friends, pet, doing an activity such as playing an instrument/sport.  No collages please.  Mrs. Krueger will start collecting your photos. 

Email photos to  Sending a digital copy to her would be the easiest, however, you may also bring them in to be scanned if necessary.  Get them turned in as soon as you can please.  Preferred date is by April 13th.

Asthma Camp
2017 Camp Catch-Ya-Breath  June 16-June 18, 2017
Camp Catch-Ya-Breath is a weekend camp that helps children age 7-13, learn about their asthma and how to control it.  Respiratory therapist, physicians and nurses teach children about asthma, avoiding triggers, how to take medications properly and how to follow an asthma action plan.  This fun-filled weekend is packed with activities such as swimming, nature hikes, and crafts... all under the guidance of qualified personnel to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.   
The objective of Camp Catch-Ya-Breath is to help children with asthma take control and live life to its fullest.  Through education and mentoring, camp staff provides children with the tools necessary to manage asthma symptoms.  Specially trained respiratory therapist physicians, and nurses provide medical supervision while also providing a fun environment for learning about asthma.
