  • Board Approves the 2016-2017 Academic Calendar:
    The 2016-2017 school year will begin on August 16, 2016 and is scheduled to end on May 22, 2017.  Please note at the bottom of the calendar the order of inclement weather makeup days for the 2015-2016 school year.  Please click HERE to view the calendar.

High School Hours & Opaa! Food Management

  • High School Start & End Times:
    Start Time: 7:45 am
    End Time:  2:39 pm  
     
     
    Meal price increases for the 2016-2017 school year are as follows:
    • Full pay lunch for students and adults $2.20 or an increase of $0.10
    • Student full pay breakfast remains at $1.25
    • Adult full pay breakfast remains at $1.50
    • Extra Milk will remain at $0.40 per unit.
     
    High School Serving Times:
     
    Breakfast   7:20 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
    Lunch      10:57 a.m. to 1:03 p.m.
     
    *Wednesday's Lunch 10:36 a.m. to 12:37 p.m.

Smithville School District Check Writing Policy

  • The Smithville R-II School District will not take a personal check for payment unless the check contains the following information on the face of the check:

     

    · Proper Name and Address

    · Issuers Date of Birth

    · Issuers Driver's License Number and/or Social Security Number

     

    Something else you need to know....

    Checks and Cash for lunch accounts must be turned in BEFORE school each day to ensure same day posting into the account.  Any monies brought in after the start of the school day will be posted the following day.  If you are providing cash, please do so in an envelope with the student's name on the front, the word lunch and the amount enclosed.  If you made an online lunch payment and your student had a negative lunch balance please send your student to school with the confirmation number from that purchase so that they can show the cafeteria cashiers at the time of their lunch purchase.
